Lagerstroemia Speciosa is a species of Lagerstroemia belong to family Lythraceae. This plant is also known as a pride of India or a Qween’s crepe myrtle. Common name is Jarul. The plant Lagerstroemia is a small or a medium size tree (20-30 m), the size of leaves 8-14 cm long or 3-7 cm broad, the size of flowers 20-30 cm and the flower petals size 2-3 cm. Basically this plant growth in India, South east. This is an Ornamental plant. This plant seedshave narcotic properties.
